Thank you for supporting the U.S.-Japan Bridging Foundation. Your donation helps us grow global leaders by sponsoring a U.S. undergraduate student to study abroad in Japan for up to one academic year. Bridging Scholars study everything from anthropology, art, business, computer science and engineering to politics, sociology and theatre – they hail from small, private liberal arts colleges to large, public universities and community colleges in every state. The students all share a passion for Japanese language, culture and educational exchange. We have many STUDENT STORIES on our site, and your donations make these stories possible.

Student sponsorships are valued at $5,000 per student and we welcome your generous donation at any amount.  As Casey, a student studying at Sophia University in Tokyo said,

“… my Bridging Foundation scholarship means the world to me because I could not afford to be here without it.”

You can make the difference that helps a student like Casey broaden his or her perspective; open their mind; nurture a global leader, vitally needed in our ever changing global society. Thank you for your donation!
