Congratulations to the Spring 2020 Bridging Scholars!
Thanks to you, our donors and supporters, the United States-Japan Bridging Foundation is pleased to announce that 20 college students recently received Bridging Scholarship grants to help them begin a life-changing experience of studying abroad in Japan.
One of the Spring 2020 Bridging Scholars, Jack (pictured to the right with friends while visiting Ise), says, "...thank you again for the opportunity that the Bridging Scholarship provided to me. The opportunity to understand culture old and new, and the opportunity to see the world." Jack created a blog to document his travels and experiences and share the many photos he's taken since arriving in Japan last month. You can take a look here to experience Japan through Jack's eyes.

The Spring 2020 Bridging Scholars were chosen from 230 young adults attending U.S. public and private community colleges, liberal arts colleges, and universities. This large, competitive pool of applicants affirms Japan's appeal as a study abroad destination and students' financial needs. Thank you for helping to remove financial barriers so that Bridging Scholars like Jack can build global leadership and workforce skills through study abroad in Japan.
