Bridging Foundation Welcomes Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Washington, DC

The U.S.-Japan Bridging Foundation welcomes Prime Minister Abe on the occasion of his historic visit with President Obama in Washington, DC.  Since the leaders met last April in Tokyo, during which they signed a joint statement promoting cultural, educational, and people-to-people exchange, the Bridging Foundation has been proud to be part of the continuing effort to nurture this valued and long-standing partnership.  We look forward to cultivating the next generation of global leaders and Japan hands through the Bridging Scholars study abroad scholarship program and the JETAA Network and Connecting Next Generation Leaders pilot program and celebrating the enduring legacy of our countries’ cooperation through the Friendship Blossoms Initiative.
